Chalkboard Activity Trays

I’m always looking for furniture to re-purpose and when I saw these TV trays at an estate sale, I immediately knew what I wanted to do with them.

So I snatched em up for $4, spray painted them black and added chalkboard paint to the top.

Now they’re folding chalkboard activity trays. The kids can do crafts or play with legos or whatever on them. The best part is the tables have a lip around the edge so that chalk, markers, etc can’t roll off the sides. And when the kids are done, you can just fold them up and put them away.
